EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY…HIRING…Maintenance Director: Housing Partners of Western Nebraska (HPWN) is looking for a responsible leader who wants the opportunity to fill some big shoes as the Maintenance Director for all properties managed by HPWN. HPWN manages 162 public housing units throughout Scotts Bluff County, 8 other local properties, and properties in Chappell, Sidney, Gordon, and Hay Springs (approx. 450 units). Maintenance Director must be experienced in all phases of construction or remodeling, read blue prints, work with contractors and insurance companies, managing people, and book/record keeping. Will be responsible for tracking all maintenance purchases and billing according to property, bidding for best products and price, help formulate budgets, developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, going to all board meetings, and managing a maintenance staff of 15 to 25. Physical labor is required also. Maintenance Director works directly with Executive Director and must be able to work closely with all office staff. Must be willing to travel and be available at odd hours. Looking for a long-term, forward thinking employee. Technology savvy is a plus. Executive Director Job Opening
The Broken Bow Housing Authority (BBHA) is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director (ED) to provide leadership and direction to all aspects of the BBHA Operations. The BBHA manages 40 Apartments and 45 Homes located in the City of Broken Bow and 20 apartments at Husker Homes in Ansley, NE. The ED works directly with the Board of Commissioners of each agency and oversees a staff of 5. The ED is responsible for policy development, budget management, grants, HUD reporting, tenant issues, contracts, managing confidential records and meeting deadlines.
The successful candidate should have a passion for quality customer service and a solid knowledge of regulatory environment. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in business or public administration, or finance and/or experience in a related field are preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Compensation for the position is negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. This is a full time position.
